Marquette-Alger RESA offers a wide range of professional learning opportunities for educators, administrators, and support staff across our two-county service area. From large annual conferences to targeted workshops, our events support continuous growth and collaboration.
Non-district attendees: A standard fee of $25 applies for individuals not employed by a local school district in our two-county service area (unless otherwise noted). Contact the event organizer with questions.

About SCECHs
State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs) can be used as an alternative to renewing an educator certificate. SCECHs are awarded through the Michigan Online Educator Certification System (MOECS).
Eligible certificates require renewal every five years, with participants needing 150 SCECHs or 6 university credits. Once uploaded, participants have 30 days to complete the online evaluation to receive their hours.
