Build Up (3-5 Year Old) Special Education

Early Childhood

Children grow and develop at their own pace, but typically between age 3 and 5, children reach several milestones. Developmental Milestones can help identify when a child is struggling and provide direction to find out why. Children who are not meeting their milestones may need additional support (intervention) to help them prepare for kindergarten and beyond. If you are concerned about your child's development, DON'T WAIT! Acting early can make a big difference!

Parents should make a referral to their resident district's Special Education Coordinator for an education based evaluation for supports and/or services.
