Career and Technical Education (CTE)

Career and Technical Education (CTE) offers exploration and preparation for high demand jobs and career paths that are both satisfying and financially rewarding.   With a strong emphasis on employability skills, hands-on learning, problems solving, and creative thinking, students are prepared for success in the workplace and/or college, and establish a foundation for life-long learning.  In the CTE model, students take what they learn in the classroom and immediately apply their learning in a real-world lab setting such as a hospital room, welding shop, kitchen, etc.  Students have the opportunity to earn free college credit from community colleges and universities across the state as well as industry-recognized certification and licensure.  Career and Technical Education works for students, families and our state.  Please visit our CTE website to learn more.
