Marquette-Alger RESA's Board of Education establishes policies that guide the operation of the agency and the services we provide to local districts.

Board Policy Overview

The MARESA Board of Education has the responsibility for establishing Board Policy and ensuring that Administrative Guidelines are developed and maintained. These policies address governance, personnel, fiscal management, educational programs, and community relations. All policies are publicly available and reviewed on a regular cycle.

Governance Structure

MARESA is governed by a Board of Education composed of representatives from our constituent school districts. The Board meets monthly to oversee agency operations, approve policies, and provide strategic direction. Board meetings are open to the public, and agendas and minutes are posted in advance.
