
Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP)

Free PreK for 4-year-olds
Michigan’s Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is the state’s free PreK program for four-year-olds. Through Michigan’s PreK for All initiative, every family has access to free PreK, with enrollment priority for those who need it most. Research shows GSRP children show significant positive developmental differences compared to peers who did not attend.

Administered by the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP). Funded through each intermediate school district.

Brookton Early Childhood Education Center

CAAM has provided the Head Start Program to young children and families since 1965. Enrollment is done year-round based on available openings.
Central Community Daycare

Discovery Central Forest School

A unique outdoor school experience year round. Children may only be enrolled after a tour with the owners or director.

North Star School Programs

Combines traditional educational practices with proven Montessori methods. Multi-age classrooms include Primary rooms for children ages 3–6.
Phelps Early Childhood Center
